As of January 14, 2020, Windows 7 is no longer receiving security and software updates. Users will be warned with this popup:
Continuing to run Windows 7 without updates puts you at increased risk of getting hit by a virus. While it is possible to buy extended support for Windows 7, in most cases, the better option is to upgrade to Windows 10. If your computer is over three years old, you may want to just buy a new machine, but often it is possible to upgrade Windows on an existing machine. (If the machine seems a bit slow, replacing the hard drive with an SSD may be all that is needed to breathe new life into the the old computer.)
Contact MCB Systems to discuss upgrading your Windows 7 software or hardware.
